The Carmel High School Marching Band is preparing for what promises to be another memorable marching season. In addition to defending their 2012 ISSMA State and Bands of America Grand Nationals Championships, the Marching Greyhounds have accepted an invitation to participate in the Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1, 2014. This is a prestigious honor and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
This year the theme of the Rose Parade is “Dreams Come True”. Most high school marching bands can only dream of one day participating in the granddaddy of them all. The Carmel Marching Band has worked extremely hard to earn its invitation to the Rose Parade. But it won’t be easy to raise the funds necessary to get the over 250 band members there. It is the goal of the Carmel High School Band Boosters to help make the dream of marching in the Rose Parade a reality for each and every band member. We can’t do this without the support of the family and friends of the band members, the Carmel Marching Greyhound Alumni and their friends and family, and the entire Carmel Community.
Please consider sponsoring a band or guard member. You can direct your donation to a specific band or guard member or you can make your donation a non-directed gift. Non-directed gifts will be used to provide financial assistance to needy and deserving students. Giving levels begin at $25 and range all the way up to sponsoring a band or guard member for the full season or thier Rose Parade trip. No matter the size, each and every gift is greatly appreciated.
You can complete the donation form below and mail it to the Band Boosters or you can make your donation online now. Either way your donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for supporting the Carmel High School Marching Band Program. With your help we can make “Dreams Come True”.
