Winter Guard performing in 2011 WGI Finals in Dayton

Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, eloquently delivered this message to the Stanford University graduating class of 2005.  In his inspirational commencement address, Jobs describes “three stories” that profoundly influenced his life:  Connecting the dots, Love and Loss, And Death. Under the direction of Rosie Queen and instructional staff, Angela Brickhouse, Rory Duffy, Matty Follo, Mike Gaines, Jennifer House Hinshaw, Molly Palecek, Keith Potter, Christina Rutan, Andy Toth, and Michael Townsend, the 31 talented performers will present their interpretation of this moving speech at several IHSCGA shows, WGI regional competitions in Indianapolis, Dayton, and Nashville and WGI World Championships.

Audiences can expect a thought-provoking and exhilarating illustration of those events that can shape our lives; especially once examined through the beneficial lens of hindsight.  The 2011 Carmel High School Winter Guard borrows the closing words of Jobs speech as they proudly perform…

“Stay Hungry.  Stay Foolish.”
