The Drum Corps International World Championships mark a week-long celebration of the “very best” in the world of marching music, and the best of the best will square off on this final day of competition, Saturday, Aug. 13.  The top 12 corps narrowed down from the previous days Prelims and Semifinals competitions will vie for top honors and the chance to be called World Champion during this concluding event of the 2011 Drum Corps International Tour.   DCI FINALS INFORMATION

The boosters have received notice of a group sales ticket opportunity for DCI finals on Saturday, August 13th. If the booster group purchases at least 20 tickets, a finals ticket will cost only $25 instead of $45. Many of our band and guard members have expressed an interest to attend the DCI finals event.

Accordingly, beginning today, we are accepting ticket orders for the Saturday evening finals event. Payment should be by check, made payable to Carmel Band Boosters. Ticket orders will be collected at the end of practice today (by the drum majors), at the Pool Party tomorrow night and at the start of rehearsals on Tuesday morning. NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED as tickets will be purchased on Tuesday morning. Ticket orders will be distributed to students at the end of practice on Wednesday (8/10).

This opportunity is not limited to just band and guard members but is open to your entire family. Please note that this group purchase will be for Saturday night only!! In the unlikely event we do not receive orders for at least 20 tickets, your check will be returned.

Buses will not be available.  Transportation downtown will be up to the attendee.
