FREE DCI TICKETS

Free tickets to the DCI show are available from our partners at Paige’s Music and Yamaha Band and Orchestra. The Drum Corp International Competition on June 21, 2011 at 7:30pm at Northwest HS in Indianapolis includes performing Corps:  the Crossmen, Madison Scouts, Troopers and Pioneer.   Mr. Saucedo and Mr. Cook will be judging this event!

For FREE tickets to this event, call Paige’s Music at 317.842.2102 to make arrangements to pick up your tickets today. 

There is also a Madison Scout clinic earlier that day with the opportunity for a close up with the MS’s. Admission to the clinic is included with the tickets.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE**
Due to time constraints and members being unavailable, we will NOT be holding the senior retreat at the DCI show as planned next week. We will reschedule it to be held during July/August band camp.   However, Mr. Saucedo, Mr. Cook and Mr. Young will all be judging the show next Tuesday night and Mr. Saucedo would like to encourage ANY band member that is available to attend the show! Check the DCI website for more information and cheer them on!

125+ CARMELFEST PARADE WAIVER FORMS STILL NEEDED!
The 2011 Carmelfest Parade Waiver is now available on the band’s website to
download

and complete.  The required password for all registration forms is:  formsPRivate.  Everyone who plans to march in the parade must complete and turn in the form promptly.  Please hand-deliver the form to Mr. Saucedo or mail it to him at the fol­low­ing address: CHS Per­form­ing Arts Depart­ment, Carmel High School, 520 E. Main Street, Carmel, IN  46032.  You may also hand-deliver it to Joe Pfister, VP Bands. before or after rehearsal. If your student is not marching in the parade, email Joe Pfister promptly.
 
HEALTH FORMS STILL NEEDED
Many Members still need to complete and turn in the required Health Form, which is available for download at our website under the 2011 REGISTRATION tab.  Two copies are required.  Please turn these in to Janet Piedmonte or Joe Pfister at rehearsal.  Please be sure both copies of the Health Form are NOTARIZED!

100+ CODE OF CONDUCT FORMS FORMS STILL NEEDED
Many Members still need to complete and turn in the Code of Conduct Form, which is available for download at our website, under the 2011 REGISTRATION tab.  Please read our Code of Conduct, sign it and turn in to Joe Pfister, VP Bands, before or after rehearsal.
