GUARD UPDATE
Carmel Guard’s Community Night will be on January 27th, 8:30 PM. It will be in the Varsity Gym and will feature the debut shows of the Junior Varsity Guard, A Guard, and the World Guard.  This special Guard performance is a fundraiser with a dinner beginning at 7:00pm in the freshman cafeteria. The dinner will include Ernie’s excellent pulled pork sandwiches as one of the delicious items offered. Performances by all 3 winter guards will begin at 8:30pm in the Varsity Gym. The JV guard will be performing their show, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star;” the A-guard will be performing their show, “Windmills”;  and the World Guard will be performing their show, “Find Your Voice.”The performance is free so come out and cheer on these terrific, hard working girls.

 All 3 guards will be performing on Saturday, Jan 28, in Brownsburg . More info about the performance at Brownsburg may be found at www.ihscga.org

DIDN’T YOU LOVE THE GOING VIRAL FLAGS? The Going Viral flag silks that were used in the fall marching band show are being offered for sale. The black & white flags and the 2-sided flags are being offered for $20 apiece, while the giant closer flags are being offered for $25 apiece. A few of our guard moms spent countless hours sewing these gorgeous flags, and our lovely color guard girls spun them beautifully in the fall show. JAZZ BAND FEES
Jazz band fees are now due. They are $45 per student and payable to CHS Band Boosters, PO Box 65, Carmel IN 46082. You can also pay fees on the band website using the  “pay your fees” link  on the Band Web Site.
  
2011 MARCHING BAND FEES
A friendly reminder on 2011 Marching Band fees:  2011 fees should be paid in full at this time. We are flexible on the timing of payment of fees, but please keep in mind that the booster organization is dependent on each and every member’s full payment of fees in order to meet its financial obligations and ensure the ongoing health of the organization. Updated statements with the latest Scrip and Kroger credits will be distributed by the end of this week via email. If you are not receiving your statements via email, please contact Pam Verbarg. Payments can be mailed to: CHS Band Boosters, PO Box 65, Carmel IN 46082 or you can use the  “pay your fees link” on the Band Web Site. 

If you are needing to make alternate arrangements, please contact Pam or Mr. Saucedo.   

SCRIP UPDATE
SCRIP pickup will be this Thursday.  Location is at the School Main Entrance, by the Door #1, Circle Entrance off Main Street, from 5 until 6 PM.
