Tickets for ISSMA State Finals are available for purchase today, tomorrow and Friday during regular school hours at the CHS Bookstore. Avoid the lines at Lucas Oil Stadium this Saturday and purchase your tickets early!SCRIP UPDATE
SCRIP pickup, this week, will be on Thursday 5-6 pm – in the practice lot if the kids are outside; in the band hallway if they are inside.  As always, there’ll be a terrific selection of scrip cards in stock and available for immediate purchase as well.

2011 GOING VIRAL YEAR-END DVD
Year End DVDThe 2011 Going Viral Year-End DVD order forms are now available! Orders are due December 3rd.  You may also order last year’s Stop and Smell the Roses DVD.  For more information and to download the order form, go to the website: DVD

GOING VIRAL 2011 & CMB COMMEMORATIVE ORNAMENTS 
Commemorate this ‘Going Viral’ season with a keepsake ornament. Each ornament has the QR code, the show’s title and year, yellow shimmery ribbon to symbolize the guard’s costume, black and white ribbon to symbolize the QR code, and a royal blue ribbon to symbolize the band’s uniforms. Each ornament is filled with black, white, and yellow glass beads and each ornament also contains a glass red star bead to symbolize the trip to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “Carmel Marching Band” ornament is filled with blue, black and silver glass beads and has musical note ribbon, silver, and royal blue ribbon. Price for the ornaments is $10 each and all proceeds go to the band and guard. Ornaments will be delivered at the band banquet on Nov. 14.  See the home page of the website for more information.  You can pay by check by delivering the order to Kim Ware or you can buy with PayPal or a credit card using the link on the website.

LAST CHANCE TO ORDER SPIRIT BUTTONS…Only $3 each!
Many parents like to wear a button with their child’s picture to complement their Carmel Marching spirit wear. If you want to order a spirit button this year, orders must be placed by Monday October 31st. Custom orders are always welcome, any picture in jpeg format can be made into a button. If you have already ordered a spirit button, they are now ready for pick up! Look for JoAnn Albright after practice or the next Pitch In or Send-off. Last pick up for all button orders will by November 4th after practice. As a reminder, each button is $3. Exact change is appreciated or make your check payable to Carmel Band Boosters.  Questions or need instructions on how to make a custom order? Contact JoAnn Albright.  We are also selling buttons with the QR code.

BAND BANQUET, RESERVATION FORM DUE Nov 1st
Thank you to everyone who have submitted their RSVP forms for this year’s banquet on November 14th at Ritz Charles.  The deadline for submitting reservations (and we need to hear from everyone even if you cannot attend!) is November 1st, making this weekend’s ISSMA State Finals the last opportunity to leave it with Lisa or Angela in the Parent Pep Band during the send-off.  Reservations may also be mailed to Angela at the address on the reservation form or given to Maddy Jones (timpanist) at rehearsals.  For more information contact Angela or download the Banquet form from the website:  RSVP FORM  You won’t want to miss this highlight of the marching band season! It’s a celebration and awards banquet.

MACY*S PICTURE OFFER, DEADLINE THANKSGIVING DAY
Group Photos, Inc. is Macy*s official photographer and is offering our band the opportunity to prepurchase 8×10 high quality photographs at $20 each.  With the pre-purchase of three photos, a video DVD and shipping are included free.  This offer expires on Thanksgiving Day.  We are offering this as a courtesy to our Membership, the Band Boosters have no business relationship with Group Photos, Inc.  See the website for more information and the order form:  MACY*S PICTURE OFFER

Going to Macys on the fan bus or your own transportation and looking for a way to coordinate sight-seeing and other fun activities in the Big Apple with other marching band families?  Check out the newly formed group “Carmel Marching to Macys Fan Trip” on Facebook and join up.

Also, if you are traveling by bus to New York, EVERYONE needs a sack dinner on Monday evening. The buses will not be stopping for a dinner break. Our corporate sponsor, Fresh Market is donating meals at no charge for students, staff and chaperones on the buses. Fans have the option of pre-purchasing a meal for $8.00. The meal includes a sandwich of your choice, chips, fruit, cookie and bottled water. Purchase of the meal is optional; however, if you choose not to participate, please note you will be responsible for providing your own sack dinner. If you are traveling by fan bus and want to participate, please submit the menu (Use the MACY*S link above) with choice of Sandwich circled and $8.00 payment to Lisa Harbour or Robin Ridge no later than Friday, November 11, 2011.  PLEASE NOTE: EVERYONE on the buses must fill out the form!  Students, Staff, Directors, Chaperones & Accompanying Fans!
