Become a Benefactor

 

If you are a parent, guardian, extended family member, or friend of a Carmel band member; or, an alumni or alumni parent; or, maybe you are simply a fan of Carmel bands, you can support the Carmel Bands program by becoming a Benefactor.  The Benefactor program is open to all non-corporate individuals and groups who wish to make a monetary donation to the Carmel Bands program and includes commensurate benefits.

 

Carmel Marching Greyhounds Benefactor

Around 300 wind, percussion and guard students participate in marching band at Carmel High School.  We believe that these offerings not only help to develop a student’s musical and performance interests, but also help the student learn valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, creativity and a strong commitment to excellence.  About 20% of marching band members rely on financial support from the Carmel High School Band Boosters to participate.  We strive to give every student the opportunity to learn what it takes to achieve excellence and one way you can help these students is becoming a Carmel Marching Greyhounds Benefactor.

Carmel Concert Bands Benefactor

Our concert band students find a place to connect, while growing personally and musically.  Private lessons and solo/ensemble experiences are transformational in a student’s musical success.  About 10% of our band members need financial support to participate in these opportunities. The Carmel High School Band Boosters feel every student should have the opportunity to challenge themselves. By becoming a Concert Band Benefactor, you help give students these special opportunities.

The Carmel High School Band Boosters, Inc., a 501(c)(3) is a non-profit organization. The value of your donation to the CHS Band Booster general fund, less the fair market value of the Benefactor benefits, is tax deductible.  Donations directed to a student is NOT tax deductible.  For your donation, you will receive commensurate benefits and a receipt for tax purposes.
